Two years later they renamed themselves “Community Little Theatre” and later, “Greenville Little Theatre.” The organization performed at Greenville High School, an Air Force base theater on Lowndes Hill Road and eventually found it’s perfect, permanent home on Heritage Green. In 1926, a group of like-minded artists came together and formed “Greenville Artists Guild” to create a theatrical space for artistic, political, and historical importance.
